It has dawned on me that having our wedding on the very first day of faire next fall might not be the best of ideas. I mean, the first day of faire is crazy enough as it is without adding a wedding to the end of it!

So we're strongly considering changing the date to September 2, 2007. I have to call the KCRF office to see if that's do-able. I have to check to see if the Feasting Tent is available to hold the wedding and all the food service in it. I thought I'd post it here too, to see if that would make a difference for anybody so far as attending the wedding especially for the folk who are travelling.

Just as the hand-fasting was it's going to be largely put together the day of, after the end of the day of fare at the garden behind the chapel since Bruce and I are performing all day and then changing and coming to the wedding. We'll have just about an hour to set things up so far as moving benches and any decorating goes. So just as the hand-fasting, we'll be relying greatly on whomever is helping. Very soon I'm going to be sitting down with a couple of friends and making the great To-Do database. Then we'll be figuring out exactly how many people we need to help and starting to ask people to do things in particular. Honestly, everyone to whom I delegated stuff for the Hand-fasting did such a stellar job that I'm hoping to enlist many of those same people plus a bunch more to help with the reception. Yes, we're planning on feeding everyone.
